Alan Templeton

Alan Templeton is a Silver Life Master and an Amercan Contract Bridge League (ACBL) certified director and instructor who has been active in the Palo Alto Unit of the ACBL for the past 25 years.

Alan is a founding member of the SiVY board of directors, created and manages their website and is a volunteer at various SiVY events.

Among Alan's activities in the Palo Alto Unit are:

• 10 years on the Board of Directors.
• 15+ years as a volunteer teaching assistant in bridge education programs.
• Mentor to less experienced players.
• Duplicate game director.
• Created and has maintained the Unit website for almost 20 years.

He has been awarded the Unit's Service and Sportsmanship awards and also the local District's Goodwill award.

Mr. Templeton also serves on the board of directors of another local non-profit organization.

Mr. Templeton has a BSEE degree from Stanford University and a MSEE degree from the University of California at Berkely. He is a retired software developer / manager.
