Sue Griswold
Sue started playing bridge at Palo Alto High School, and still has many friends from the bridge club there. She has always loved the game, and played a lot through college, then after a long hiatus, came back to bridge when she retired in 2006.
Sue has a B. A. and elementary teaching credential from the University of the Pacific and an MBA from Stanford University. She spent most of her career in Finance and Corporate Development at Syntex Corporation (later Roche after they acquired Syntex).
She has spent a great deal of time playing bridge, serving as Treasurer and President of Palo Alto Unit 503 of the American Contract Bridge League, and now working on bringing the love of bridge to youths.
She also is an avid volunteer teacher of English as a Second Language, primarily to Spanish speakers.
