Casual Friday

25 Youth Bridge players, aged 9 to 22 attended our first Casual Friday. They talked, laughed, ate and played bridge.

On July 11, Silicon Valley Youth Bridge introduced Casual Friday. Casual Friday is an informal game of bridge with other youth players. It is not a tournament or a lesson - it's all about enjoying a casual evening of bridge, while getting to know other young players. Mentors are also available to answer questions and offer tips if the players wish.

Special thanks to Will Watson and all the mentors who joined the fun.

We plan to make this a weekly event starting in August - except on some Fridays that fall on holidays or conflict with local bridge tournaments or other events.
