About our Virtual Pizza Parties
Our parties are held online at Bridge Base Online (BBO). Players may choose between:
- Social game for newer players - play at a Practice Table with a mentor and participate on a conference call via Discord. View Discord tutorial video
- Duplicate tournament for more experienced players - BBO master points will be awarded!
In order to attend, you must:
- Have at least a little bit of prior bridge experience
- Have a BBO membership (free). View BBO tutorial video
- Pre-register for your choice of either casual or tournament play
- If participating in the tournament and would like to earn ACBL masterpoints, your ACBL number must be included in your BBO account.
We hope to see you there.

Thanks for attending today's Virtual Pizza Party. We had five full tables in the tournament and 1.1 tables (that's 5 players :)) in the casual. After only a few technical difficulties, things seemed to run smoothly.
Winners of the tournament and $10 gift cards were:
- Jamin and Daniel - 67.5%
- Jeffrey and Richard - 61.94%
- Naomi and Audrey - 53.33%
- Jeremy and Aldwyn - 52.78%
We also had a drawing for more winners and chose: Eliza, Aaron and Chloe!
You can see the video of drawing their names on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/siliconvalleyyouthbridge - and go ahead and "like" the page
Many thanks to Will Watson for running the tournament, Randy and Doug for hosting casual tables, and Kai, David and Kent for filling in.
The bridge games at our parties are American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) sanctioned awarding masterpoints (MP) to high scorers. ACBL membership is not required for our games but is strongly suggested. You can join online or at the Bridge Center on the night of an event. Adult membership is $29 for the first year and junior membership only $5 per year. Both include a monthly magazine (print for Adults, online access for Juniors) and registration of masterpoints (start earning towards becoming a Life Master!).
