Nine Teams from six high schools participated in this year's Team Championship. Congratulations to the Palo Alto High School's Vikings team of Cornelius Duffie, Stella Wan, Jonathon Youngquist, Sarah Youngquist on winning this year's championship. Congratulations, also, to the second place Lynbrook High School team comprised of Michael Hu, Alex Zheng, David Zheng, Michael Zheng.
Monta Vista High School in Cupertino (Sarah Cai, Sophie Lian, Jasmine Wang, Aman Desai) finished in third place. Fourth place was earned by the Gunn High School (Kevin Huang, Lucas Huang, Jonny Shi, Michael Xu).
Thirteen pairs participated in this year's Pairs Championship. Congratulations to Brent Xiao Mission San Jose/Calix Tang Homestead High School, who won this year's pair title and also to Claire Duffie and Helen Chang Palo Alto High School, who placed 2nd. 3rd place went to Ben Smentek and Ricky Schober, Monte Vista High School, and Nathan Huang and Natalie Huang, Los Altos High School, were 4th.
Eight pairs played in the Warmup Pairs event during the morning. Congratulations to Jonathan Yue, Leland High School, and Calix Tang, Homestead High School who won this event and to Kai Chang, The Chinese American High School, and Devan Shankra, Menlo-Atherton High School who finished 2nd.
Youth from 17 different high schools competed in the pairs events. The winners represented 10 different schools.
First place prizes provided in memory of Belle Bestor, a life-long bridge player who inspired her children to become Life Masters.
