2014 Bay Area Intercollegiate Bridge Championship

SiVY Bridge sponsored the first annual Bay Area Intercollegiate Bridge Championship on May 17th. Teams from Stanford and Cal played a 32 board match, played in halves, at the Bridge Center in Mountain View. The two teams qualified in February in the online portion of the ACBL Intercollegiate championships. Eight teams out of 22 qualified for the National final in Las Vegas.

Kibitzers were welcomed and were encouraged to wear the colors of the team they supported. Players in a Non LM sectional held concurrently were able to kibitz the match during their lunch break.
