President's Corner

Hello and welcome to the Summer Edition of the Youth Bridge Blast from your new SiVY President. At our recent Volunteer Event our Founding President, Debbie Rosenberg, announced she is leaving that role to allow time for her to focus on other aspects of the organization and that I would be stepping into the position. I’m thrilled and honored to lead the organization through its next chapters.

Please join me in thanking Debbie for her invaluable contribution as Founder and President of SiVY. Without her vision, boundless energy, and unfailing commitment to the cause, we would not have the organization that exists today. We are a four-year success story in large measure due to Debbie. We’re happy she’ll be continuing to support both SiVY and other youth bridge endeavors in the Bay Area and beyond.

In other important organizational news, SiVY is honored to now be sponsored by the Peninsula Bridge Education Foundation (PBEF), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a variety of bridge education initiatives and operating out of the Palo Alto Bridge Center. This ends our four years of affiliation with the Center for Bridge Education (CBE). We thank CBE and its volunteers for their invaluable role as our fiscal sponsor.
